You just never know what the weather is going to be like around here and we just so happened to get a gorgeous 70 degree day in February for this stunning momma’s maternity session. The trees weren’t in full bloom yet, but we found some beautiful pine trees that worked just fine for a backdrop.
This gorgeous little peanut came to see me when she was just 8 days new, the perfect age for a newborn session. She totally rocked her session, sleeping almost the entire time! Mom wanted to incorporate flowers into her session and of course… roses!
This little guy was just too stinkin’ cute. That hair… those lips… oh my goodness, I could have just kept him! And I absolutely love it when I get to try new things during a newborn session. Mom brought a guitar for me to use as a prop and also requested I do a hammock pose. I have never done either of those before and I just love how they both turned out! I honestly could have shared every single picture from Hanani’s session, but I managed to narrow it down to these favorites…
Welcome to the world, Jett!
There for a while I had a streak of non-sleepers and Jett was no exception. He fought sleep for hours… yes, hours… but that’s where patience in newborn photography is a must. Sometimes you just have to wait it out. He finally surrendered and we ended up with these beautiful images…
This little guy gave me quite the workout. He wasn’t much for sleeping and hated to be posed, but what he lacked in cooperation, he made up for in cuteness!
